

3 of the 4 stake marks are very heavy(I would call them chipped) and look to be the same shape and size punch. when reinstalled the stake marks do not line up. From the looks of it either they staked this after the first over hall 4 times. My reason for this is if I push by hand until the base stops it is visually not in the center of the dovetail on the receiver(to the left as viewed from the rear looking down the barrel). Is the sight based centered in the dove tail originally ? I was thinking of using my golf grip align/install gig laser to center line the gun from the front sight back to the receiver ?ģ. When installing the rear sight do you just go until you have resistance then a tiny touch more ?Ģ.
